What is a crew cab vs regular cab vs double cab?

As the name implies, a regular cab pickup truck has only one row of seating with limited storage space and legroom. A regular cab pickup used to be the only configuration available on pickups. A Crew Cab pickup’s more powerful engine options and larger size are not seen in the sedan world while still providing the luxuries and rear-seat legroom that families desire.
