Folsom Lake Toyota is happy to help you custom order a Toyota.
In days past, if a car buyer was considering a custom order purchase, it generally meant that it was a rare car or they were looking for something ultra-specific. Either way, the car buyers were happy to pay for the right of getting something special, despite knowing that it would take additional time to finish the order. The appeal of getting a rare vehicle outweighed the extra wait time rather than just buying a new car from the local inventory. Fast forward to today, and the car-buying landscape has changed greatly. Gone are the days of rows of new cars to choose from, so if you want something unique, then buying directly from the manufacturer is your best option. If one needs a vehicle immediately, getting it from the vehicles available on the lot now is likely your only option.
The absolute best part of custom ordering your new car is that you are able to pick only the technology you need. You can choose NAV, leather seats, and All-Wheel Drive, and it can even be your lucky color: blue! In the past, you may have needed to compromise on your wishlist depending on the available stock of new vehicles. You might be able to get all of the upgrades you wanted, but it was Front-Wheel Drive instead of AWD. Or they had AWD, but it had cloth seats, not leather. If you custom order your next vehicle, you get what you want.
On the other hand, by ordering your brand-new vehicle from the factory, you don’t get stuck with features you don’t want. Perhaps you were looking for NAV and All-Wheel Drive but didn’t care about the leather seats or color. To be fair, you may not be able to individually select every option by itself, yet by custom ordering your brand-new vehicle, you can minimize the unwanted upgrades. We do suggest that you check out any available option packages, as they tend to offer popular upgrades together at a lower price.
If you’re custom ordering your new vehicle, you know exactly what you want. You won’t need to spend your day comparing upgrades, test-driving different trim levels, etc. All you need to do is schedule time with one of our sales professionals, and they can help you navigate the custom order guide and help you pick only what you want. When the delivery day gets here, you can stop in, sign a few documents and be on your way. Custom ordering has shifted the paradigm in the car-buying experience.
